It's not 10 AM and I am in my second plane, that's the beauty of hubbing. To go to Vienna, I fly from Strasbourg through Paris... But I am not having the worst place: I have just met Cathy Peck, Bob Omerza, Robert Catterall and a few others, all coming from the US. They did hot look very fresh. I missed Stuart Litel by a few minutes, but it was either him or the plane (no comment, Jerry).

Sunny day in Vienna
Sunny day in Vienna

Things have not started yet, but I am really excited about this first Informix conference in Europe.

One of the benefits of attending international conferences is traveling: Vienna is a very nice city, and this Saturday afternoon might be the only time slot available in the week to enjoy the city!

Both boards, the IDUG Board and the IIUG Board finished the day around a nice dinner, in a restaurant deep into Vienna: Vincent in Grosse-Pfarrgasse.
