The sales period started today and as I am a “serious buyer”, I got my self an external DVD burner, USB 2 from BenQ.
I must I was skeptical about burning at 16x and even more skeptical about doing so on an external USB device. The result is however impressing, it burnt 4.3Gb in about 5 minutes. Complete verification took a bit more time (it went down to about 4x).
Now it sits on my desk, ready to burn massively… My usual and regular full-backup will be more pleasant this month.
