La médiathèque de
Sélestat m'a demandé d'intervenir sur ce sujet pour qu'on essaie, ensemble, d'y
voir un peu plus clair. Qu'est-ce qu'un réseau social ? Qu'est ce qu'un blog ?
Le mash-up ?
Cet exposé est
une vision très personnelle de ce qu'est Web 2.0. De toute façon, je doute qu'il
y ait une définition objective de Web 2.0.
Gee! I am in San Francisco. First, I love the city, not my
first time here, but it's a real city, where you can walk, find French food
(there is even a place where you can get Meteor, it's a beer from Hochfelden)...
But San Francisco is more than that. It's America. It's the American dream with its ups and downs...
I work for GreenIvory. They are specialized in Enterprise Mashup. Their product is called RedLion. You can do great things with Mashup and RedLion. I will have to come back to it to describe what they are doing, it really is exciting.
I feel kind of proud tonight. Yep. Some people are sad the day before their birthday, but it's not my case. I'll be 36 tomorrow and looking behind is not really in my temper.
The reason that makes me proud tonight is that, thanks to hard work and the RedLion solution, GreenIvory is an IBM Advanced Partner. It's not even on GreenIvory's web site (what is their webmaster doing? Noone düne Piipe Nochamol!).
RedLion is a great (would I say otherwise?) tool for searching information on the Internet and bringing it into nicely designed web pages or e-mail. RedLion is an excellent companion to your CMS package and it is not a replacement for any of them (otherwise, i would probably not use Joomla!).
It’s been a while I did not blog, although this is not a blog ;-).
Well, I just wanted to let you know that the new IDS (v11 or Cheetah) has some nice XML features and I wrote an article about them on DB2mag.com, with plenty of examples. XML is cool, IDS is cool, Java is cool. You’ll see why there.
Windows Vista is indeed quite cool. However, when it comes to installing software, you might come into some problems as Vista is relying on a new security mechanism which requires to be Administrator when you add anything to Program Files (well, this is the short version).
What a day… I am glad I don’t have days like that everyday. It started yesterday. A friend of mine wanted me to help him on a tender, finalizing his approach and his strategy on a migration from a legacy technology to Java.
